In June 2023 I attended Ninewells Hospital, Dundee for an appointment at the Dermatology department to have 2 Basal cell carcinomas removed. On arrival I was greeted by a very warm and friendly gentleman who took the time to chat to me and show me to my seat....unfortunately I did not get his name.
I was then greeted by a very charming lady (Chantelle) who went on to advise me of the role she would be undertaking during my procedure.....her friendly and caring attitude immediately put my mind to rest and it certainly set a very calming scene for the rest of my visit.
Chantelle then introduced me to Katrina, who advised me that she would be carrying out my surgery. Katrina herself was equally as charming as Chantelle and explained calmly and methodically what the procedure would involve. Throughout the whole experience I was kept fully informed of what was happening which was most reassuring to me.
Both ladies continually chatted to me which meant that the whole issue was done and dusted and was very quick and painless.
Prior to leaving, the aftercare advice was fully explained to me.
I cannot praise the aforementioned team enough, as the standard of service I received from entering the department until leaving was absolutely excellent. Many, many thanks to all involved in my treatment.....you are such a credit to the NHS.
Kind regards
