"The doctors are very reassuring and put my mind at ease"

About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Coronary Care Daisy Hill Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I came in to hospital on Tuesday morning after my GP referred me up to the emergency department in Daisy Hill. I was then admitted to coronary care. The staff on the ward are great. The ward is clean. The food is very good, there is lots of choice on the menu.

The doctors are very reassuring and put my mind at ease. They come round every morning and check in with me. I am currently waiting on an operation.

The ward is currently closed to visitors because of covid contact, so I find the experience very lonely but other than that, everything has been very good.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience from staying in Coronary Care. We are delighted to hear that your experience has been an overall positive one. I am very pleased to hear that you have found the staff on the ward to be great, we really appreciate those kind words. It is such a shame that the ward is closed at the minute due to the circumstances so I can understand you're feeling lonely as family are unable to visit, I can only apologize for this.

thank you again and best wishes.

Rebecca.
