"Piece of mind knowing my mum was safe in your unit"

About: Victoria Hospital / Rapid Access and Discharge

(as a relative),

My mum was looked after at Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy Ward 9 for six days. The care was excellent, nothing was too much bother.

Although she tended to call you by the wrong names it would be useful to put your names on the whiteboards at the bedside for patients. I knew my mum was safe in your unit which gave me piece of mind during quite a stressful time.

Consultants, Doctors, Nurses were all very professional and I wish to thank you all for taking the time to explain her conditions and prognosis.

A huge thank you to all the Health Care Support Workers in ward 9 for your excellent care and attention as my mum loves a chat.

A special mention for Declan trimming her fringe . The simple things in nursing that make patients feel safe and comfortable in hospital goes a long way, knowing your family member is receiving excellent care they deserve.

Dear Clellnico

Thank you for taking the time to provide such positive feedback for the ward 9 team. It really is heartening to read of such wonderful care!

I note your comment regarding staff names being written on the patient board and this has been fed back to the team.

I hope your Mother is continuing to recover well and once again thank you for taking the time to contact us,
