I received a phone call around 34-35 weeks pregnant from Alex about the new care system that was being brought in to Northern Ireland for midwifery care. After attending the first antenatal appointment I instantly felt like I was in good hands. Alex was so on the ball with everything, she kept in touch with me and made me feel so at ease. As this was my first baby she reassured me that everything would be ok and gave me all the information that I needed to go into labour prepared no matter what happened birth wise.
I wish I had of received this care from the beginning of my pregnancy as it was fantastic and I really had a great bond with my midwife.
