"An excellent Ward"

I had an operation and came back into Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy Ward 54 Urology for a reinvestigation.

Ward 54 is an excellent ward and it's comforting to recognise the staff and know that they recognise me from previous visits.

I feel very welcomed into the ward

The staff all seem happy at their job even though they are run off their feet at times.

Communication is good and I feel as informed as I need to be.

I usually like and ask the staff to pass on information such as medication to my wife. They acknowledge this and I am most grateful.

Any procedures I have had I have been fully informed of what was happening. I have had to have a cannula and a catheter removal of the Catheter was a little uncomfortable, but the nurse talked me through this, reassured me and It was okay.

I would say the care in ward 52 is excellent and the food has been great. A really good choice, I've really enjoyed it.
