"Can't get reply from hospital."

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Urology( Ward 70)

(as the patient),

I was due to get surgery in the spring of this year but have heard nothing from the hospital (urology dept). I changed address in April and to make sure they knew of this I've been calling surgeons secretary but each time i phone an auto message tells me to leave chi number d.o.b. which I've done 5 times now and still my doctors secretary has not called back. Spring has come and gone and I still don't know what's going on, I believe it's a disgrace that they can leave me hanging on like this. I have an appointment with C.A.B to see how I go from here, this is no way to treat people.

Dear Stricken,

I am sorry to hear you have not been able to get in touch with anyone in the urology department. If you have been unable to get in touch with the medical secretary the staff in Ward 70 on 0141 201 3563 should be able to get you in touch with the correct person.

I hope this helps.

Maria
