"light shining through the window on the door is a nuisance"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Trauma Ward

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I came in a week ago, the nurses are brilliant. The care is all good, not one complaint. I was eating okay when I first came in, but I am pretty much sick of the food now, it would be alright for a short stay of 3 or 4 days but its getting too repetitive now. The communication is dead on. The only thing i would say is the light shining through the window on the door is a nuisance, I am a bad enough sleeper as it is, so I just have to throw a blanket or towel over it so the light doesn't come in. Even if they just dimmed the lights down the hall there it would be better.

Hello,

My name is Rachel and I am the Ward Sister on the Trauma Ward. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I am so pleased to read that the nurses have been brilliant and that you are happy with the care and communication. The staff work hard to ensure our patients are comfortable. I will pass onto the staff to make sure the lights are dimmed at night time, we appreciate your feedback.

I wish you well and a speedy recovery.

Best wishes,

Rachel
