First time with a knee injury and skin infection, diagnoses were not explained clearly but treatment was prescribed and provided.
X ray staff were efficient and friendly.
Nursing staff less so.
Asked to return for a review either 48 hours or after a week.
Returned after 7 days to be seen by the same nurse who at this visit was abrupt, off hand and left me feeling I was being a nuisance.
There was a distinct lack of care at this visit resulting in a very different experience.
A different experience because I was apparently taking time and again I was given a very vague explanation.
I was asked why I had come.
Communication from the nurse was poor and dismissive towards me and my partner. There was a lack of care at this time.
I got a brush off with a go see your GP or if necessary ano community hospital MIU.
Unhelpful under the circumstances and left us both feeling anxious and lacking in confidence in the vague diagnoses.
It’s a great resource if you don’t mind the variable attitude.
"Impressed first visit, less so at the second…"
