"Competent, caring and helpful staff"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Acute Medical Receiving Unit (AMRU)

(as the patient),

I was admitted with pneumonia by ambulance on in May 2023 and discharged after 2 . The shared ladies ward (Ward 2 ACR) was looked after by very competent, caring and helpful staff from Consultants, all nursing staff and auxilliaries alike. They all went above and beyond and made me feel so well cared for. Needless to say they made me well again and i'll be eternally grateful to them. It was a very harrowing and worrying time and they done their job to perfection.  Thank you.
