About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / General Surgery (wards 19, 20, 24, 26 &29)

(as a service user),

The team in the SDAU, Ms Arthur and theatre team were all  so kind and compassionate and put me at ease . The process was so smooth and they kept me informed at every step. It was a warm day and the unit was busy but I never felt like I was a burden, they were just very caring and professional throughout.  

I was left feeling so very grateful for the amazing work they all do everyday.  I remember every interaction I had with each person and I can honestly say I felt genuine kindness from every one. Thank you

Thank you for taking the time to feedback to us.

It’s lovely to hear that you felt at ease within our Same Day Admission Unit (SDAU) and that our process was smooth, making you feel well informed and cared for.

The Surgeon, the theatre staff and the SDAU nursing staff strive to always achieve this and it is wonderful to hear you found that to be your experience.

We have shared your kind feedback to all the teams and people mentioned and they have asked me to extend their thanks to you for your kind words.
