"Compliments to reception and medical staff"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Emergency Medicine Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Fracture Clinic

(as a relative),

My wife tripped and fell in the garden and we attended A & E at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with a suspected small fracture of the left wrist.

I would like to compliment the reception staff and the medical staff of the small fractures clinic on their pleasant and professional help and support given to us.

It is the first time we have had to attend A&E and although I know that the department was not very busy, the experience was seamless and successful.

In the end, my wife did not have a fracture but better safe than sorry.

Thank you to Lindsey and also the follow up phone call from the doctor who examined the x-ray.

Again, thank you very much to all those involved in my wife's care.

Dear silverwarejh36,

Thank-you very much for taking the time to post about your experience on Care Opinion. I'm delighted to read such lovely feedback about our clinical and admin teams in the Emergency Dept. I know that the teams themselves will also be delighted and I will ensure that this post is shared with them. I hope that your wife is recovering from her injury.

Best wishes,

Catherine
