I have suffered with Osteoarthritis in both of my knees & lower spine having worked in the care sector for many years, my knees got so bad they were bone on bone & my knees were bowed.
I had my first total knee replacement in November 2021 at Pilgrim Boston hospital. The surgeon was Mr Raj. Although it was very painful to begin with, he did a great job. The care that I received at Pilgrim was very good, the staff couldn't do enough for me.
The only problem for me is that like the other patients we couldn't have visitors due to covid rules. I then had physio at Skegness hospital followed by aftercare from Mr Raj & his team. Fast forward to January 2023 & I had my 2nd total knee replacement at Grantham hospital. The surgeon was again thankfully Mr Raj. The treatment I received was again very good. It's not a nice operation, in fact no operation is, but the treatment by Mr Raj & all the staff are second to none. I'm very pleased with my new knees & would like to thank Mr Raj & all the staff for giving me my life back.
