About: Tewkesbury Hospital

Visited at 8am on a Sunday morning with severe tonsillitis. In and out within 45 mins with antibiotics given on the scene.

The only thing I wasn’t blown away by, was the smell outside the hospital, the ventilators and generators seemed to portray a scent of dampness across the whole car park, this wasn’t pleasant. Inside everywhere seemed clean and the staff were disinfecting all equipment after use etc. however, I’m the waiting room there were 2 woodlice, 2 spiders and and ant I saw crawling around the floor of the waiting room. I understand bugs, especially things such as spiders often live indoors but this seemed to be an excess amount of insects inside, in the hospital waiting room. It didn’t make me feel very comfortable and made me wonder what was attracting so many in the 15 mins that I was in the waiting room.
