I had been bitten by a dog, and after taking some advice, I visited the Emergency Department at Ayr. From the receptionist on the front desk until the end of my treatment, I couldn’t have asked for better care and attention.
I was seen by Wendy, ENP, who was very thorough and caring. Wendy was fantastic, explaining everything she was doing and why she was doing it. I felt very informed throughout.
In all, I was x-rayed, the wound was cleaned and dressed, I was given a tetanus jab, and given antibiotics within 50 minutes….couldn’t have asked for any better.
Stephanie, who was in x-ray, was lovely too. She was very patient and clear in her instructions.
A really fantastic service, managed by Caroline, Clinical Nurse Manager. She should be very proud of the team.
Such an effective, efficient service….and delivered by compassionate, caring staff at every point. A huge thank you to all!
