"The advice, service and understanding shown to me has been overwhelming"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery General Practices in Grampian

(as the patient),

I have had a recurrence of trigeminal neuralgia and despite seeing several private consultants, my best service was from my GP at Skene Medical Group, who genuinely seems to care.

I was referred by my GP to the Maxillofacial Unit at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where it was my good fortune to meet with Miss Dhillon and her team.

I don't mind saying that prior to my first meeting with her I was at a low ebb, wondering if there was ever going to be a chance of a normal life with the condition. However since then, the advice, service and understanding shown to me has been overwhelming.

I know that it is unlikely that I will get rid of this condition, however I feel so much safer in the hands of Miss Dhillon. I really can't speak highly enough of her and her team and she has given me some hope where previously there was none.

Dear Arthur916,

Thank you for sharing your experience of the both the GP at Skene and the Maxillofacial Unit at ARI. Both Miss Dhillon and your GP will be delighted to hear how their care and understanding has made a positive difference to your life, and most importantly, how the genuine care they have shown has given you hope.

I will make sure your kind words are forwarded on today.

Take care,

Kirsten
