I was extremely lucky to be given an appointment after a last minute cancellation. The staff I met, including Emer who rang me, were excellent - making sure to explain everything clearly & letting me ask questions. Like a lot of folk I’ve been caught up in an ongoing drama, and it’s difficult to access quicker appointments in the private sector. I’m so grateful to the staff for providing the care so well, but also to the patient who cancelled at short notice, meaning I could get the scan in a much more timely fashion than anticipated.
