"Quite possibly the best patient experience I've had"

Had my appointment with Dr Sambiagio of the ENT department at Wishaw General Hospital today , and it was quite possibly the best patient experience I've had.

Immediately I felt calm when he and his staff were speaking to me , he was kind but also precise and measured. Wasn't nervous at all with the camera in nose as I felt comfortable with him and his staff.

He ordered a blood test and CT scan as I have a small lump in my throat and also need a hearing aid at audiology, who saw me straight away. He is clearly very genuine and absorbed in his work as an ENT doctor, it was also plain to see that the nurses and staff work well as a team alongside him.

I had to  make a point in saying thanks at the end and that he was great just so he knew. I felt that his combination of bedside manner and attentiveness at his job was outstanding.
