The author wrote to our Chief Executive to thank him for the care he had received at Lincoln County Hospital. He said he witnessed dedicated nurses and doctors, he saw the power of healing and wanted to thank everyone in the NHS and especially the nurse who held his hand during his endoscopy.
He wanted his thanks to be shared but said, (in his own words) that he had a little learning about a lot of things but knows nothing about the internet and asked us to feedback as follows on Care Opinion:
The performances of the NHS Trusts, hospitals and staff generally cannot be faulted even though I believe they are hammered by politicians and their levelling down policies. A little while ago we were asked to clap for the NHS, now I strongly advise the nation to pray for the NHS as I am concerned about it being sold. If it goes we may never get it back.
