"Excellent treatment"

I was treated as an emergency patient in the Victoria Eye Unit. Throughout the whole six weeks before I was discharged every member of staff, regardless of grade, treated me with a smile, compassion, and reassurance. I noted that this was so across the board with other patients, even under extreme pressure. The technical excellence was of the highest standard and the outcome achieved what I had been advised was possible. As a result my quality of life has been greatly improved.
