"Allergy Treatment at CIC"

About: Centre for Integrative Care (formerly Glasgow Homeopathic Hospital)

(as the patient),

I attended four outpatient appointments at the Centre for Integrative Care with Dr Mardon in the Allergy clinic for long standing allergies, hay-fever, and urticaria that was resistant to conventional treatment. I was prescribed three different homeopathic medicines, including Thuja, Natrum Sulph and Mixed Grass pollens.

Now that we are in the height of hay fever season, I can confidently say that the care I received here has been a game changer for me. I am no longer taking any antihistamines (where I had been prescribed 30mg of antihistamines daily), and I have not had any outbreaks of hives this year. Having struggled with allergies since I was a baby, it is amazing going into summer without having my eyes constantly water and sneezing every five minutes. I am about 85% improved, and the only remaining symptom is a bit of nasal congestion in the mornings.

Dr Mardon was attentive to my symptoms and story, providing helpful advice about how to manage my condition and take the prescribed remedies. I would highly recommend the CIC to anyone struggling with a long term condition, and have already suggested the Centre to several friends. I hope the CIC is able to expand and continue providing life changing services for years to come.
