(as a service user),

I have in the past year unfortunately had a stroke which has affected my balance and cognition.  I have been referred to this service. This was definitely not something I would have used pre-stroke, however I went for a trial  and cannot believe how kind the staff are and how welcome they made me feel.  

I get collected and brought home in a mini bus. I get looked after very well. I am never made to feel awkward or daft when I can’t manage things. I am treated with utmost respect. The staff are brilliant, with a broad range of service users all with different abilities. They never excluding anyone in activities, offering lots of encouragement and assistance. I now look forward to my Wednesday group. Thanks to all.

Firstly thank you kindly for taking the time to submit your comments with regards to the day service you are attending each Wednesday. I am so pleased to hear that you are enjoying your placement and that the staff are making you feel so welcome.
