"Not all heroes wear capes"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Spinal injuries unit

(as the patient),

Edenhall Spinal Injury Unit at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QEUH).

I had major spinal surgery three days ago. I cannot believe how caring, professional and wonderful all of the staff were at this unit where I spent my time before and after my surgery. Nursing staff and auxiliaries were so thoughtful and such an amazing environment.

Special thank you from the bottom of my heart to Marina, staff nurse, who looked after me. Marina was kind, loving, caring, listened to myself and I could see how much she cared for other patients also. During such a scary time, Marina was amazing and I am so thankful to have had her as my nurse. You are most definitely in the right role Marina, not all heroes wear capes
