"An example of great care"

About: Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance Victoria Hospital / Medicine of the Elderly

(as a relative),

My elderly mother-in-law fell at home in Kirkcaldy, breaking her arm.  The ambulance crew, Kirsty and Callum, who took her to Victoria Hospital were very kind and professional.  The care was much appreciated. She was taken to majors, where the care and attention was also excellent - nursing staff, doctor and porter all very caring and attentive. The physio, who was particularly involved with her care was great, he explained everything and put her at ease.

What an example of great care at VHK

Dear Jefali

Thank you for sharing your story. It must have been very worrying for you all so I am glad that you are happy with the care you received.

I am sure that VHK will respond shortly.

If you would like me to pass on your thanks to Kirsty and Callum may I ask that you contact our Patient Experience Team at sas.feedback@nhs.scot with your name, Care Opinion name, your mother's name and the address and date we attended.

I do hope she is feeling better.

Kindest regards
