About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Acute Stroke Unit (Ward 6)

(as the patient),

I would like to thank all the team in the Stroke Unit in Ward 6, Hairmyres, for looking after me so well. The staff were friendly, proficient, attentive, professional, and caring. My family were kept fully informed on the progress of my health. It was a scary time for us all, but we have come through it, and I would like the team to know how much it is appreciated, thank you.

Thank you for sharing your experience in the stroke unit at University Hospital Hairmyres.

I am so pleased you have been so well looked after during a period which must have been very worrying for both you and your family. I am glad that your family were kept informed of your recovery and that you felt attended to and cared for.

It is important for staff to feel recognised and your feedback will give the team a much needed boost. I will be sure to feed this back to them.

I am so glad to hear you and your family were kept fully informed throughout your journey, the staff work very hard to ensure they deliver person centred care at all times.
