"Admitted after fall"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Acute Medical Unit (AMU)

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I was brought into hospital by ambulance last Friday after a fall at home. I spent 1 night in ED and then was moved to AMU. Physio and OT have been working with me to try and get my mobility back again and I've been given a rollator to help me move around. I will be discharged as soon as they think I can move around independently again. I have found the staff have all been very good.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback regarding your time in hospital. I am pleased to hear that the staff have been good during your stay in AMU and I will be sure to pass this on to the team. Wishing you all the best with your recovery, and hope the rest of your stay in AMU is a pleasant one.
