"I am amazed at how quickly it has went"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Elective admissions (CEAW) 4 south

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

Was on a waiting list for 10 months for a surgical procedure. I was contacted the  previous week and told to come to the hospital for a pre-op assessment. I then went through my operation last Tuesday. I am amazed at how quickly it has went as I originally  thought that I could be on a waiting list for several years. My recovery is going good and as soon as all my drains are out then hopefully I will be able to go home.
