"I am beyond grateful for this group"

About: Community Midwifery

(as a service user),

My breastfeeding journey with my wee man has been a challenging one from the beginning. I found recovering from section and trying my best to breastfeed very overwhelming and probably would have given up had I not went to the Birthwise breastfeeding support group in Lurgan library.

The peer support volunteers, health visitors and other mums there were absolute saviours to our breastfeeding journey. My wee one was 4 weeks when we first went and we definitely wouldn't be at 15 weeks of EBF now without the amazing support from this group.

The group are very welcoming; tea, coffee, and treats are always on the go and there is always someone to listen and support you through any difficulties you and your little one are facing with absolutely zero judgement.

I am beyond grateful for this group and the amazing women running it.

Hi

Firstly congratulations on the birth of your baby.

Thanks for taking the time to send such lovely comments and I will ensure all involved get to see them.

Keep well and keep up the fantastic job your doing with breastfeeding.

Paula
