"I have nothing but gratitude and admiration"

I went into the Day Surgery Unit at Lincoln to have a lump removed from my breast for biopsy purposes to determine whether cancerous or not.  The subject alone makes it a very worrying and traumatic time, but from the time I entered the unit until I left in the evening the whole team whom I met throughout my procedure made me feel calm, always kept me informed of what was going on and treated me as though I was the only patient they were treating that day. I therefore have nothing but gratitude and admiration to send to them all.
