"Emergency Care RIE"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Accident & Emergency Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / High Dependency Unit & Intensive Care Unit Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as a relative),

My family and I would like to say a big thank you for the care, compassion and professionalism shown to us when my brother was recently taken into the RIE. From the moment my mum called 111, to the paramedics, the staff in A&E resus, Ward 118 ITU - particularly the wonderful Kyle and lovely Jo - every step was considerate and informative.

Although the outcome wasn’t what we had hoped for we really do appreciate everything you did for my brother and for us. Thank you. ❤️❤️

Dear Appreciate

Thank you for sharing your story. It is lovely to read your gratitude for the care your brother received at every aspect of his care.

If you would like me to pass on your thanks to the ambulance crew that attended may I ask that you contact our Patient Experience Team at sas.feedback@nhs.scot with your name, Care Opinion name, your brother's name and the date and address we attended.

I do hope he is feeling better.

Kindest regards

David
