I attended Woodend for a Xray guided steroid injection. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a smile from the receptionist and HCW, I was directed to Xray. Mr Dougall was in reception and he walked me to Xray and we chatted. He explained everything that was going to happen. He then introduced me to the nurse Maureen, when I got into the room the radiographer introduced herself, sorry I can't remember her name.
Maureen and I chatted away and before I knew it the procedure was over. It was totally painless. My appointment was supposed to be at 3:30 but I was early and I left the hospital at 3:50. The team is a credit to NHSG. My journey through orthopaedics from the initial consultation with Dr Nicol, the MRI team, Maureen and Co has been fantastic. Thank you all so much.
"Fantastic journey"
