(as a service user),

I was recently assessed by the Adult Autism Team at Eastwood Health and Care Centre.

I felt listened to and well informed throughout the process. Finally in my mid thirties, I feel I have a better understanding of both past experiences and how I navigate and process areas in my daily life. I no longer feel like a failed/broken human.

Although the overall wait from referral to assessment was quite long (20 months), the turnaround of assessment sessions and my diagnostic report was remarkably quick.

Special thanks to both Mary and Chris who carried out my assessment sessions/feedback session.
