Awful that you still have to call at 8am on the dot each morning for an appointment. This morning I rang just after 8am, was 18th in the queue they didn't answer until almost 8.30 and I was told "no appointments left ring back tomorrow at 8". This is a ridiculous service - myself and my children haven't seen our GP in years because of this. I've registered for online services but this doesn't include making appointments. Most people don't have an illness that bad that they need to see a doctor that exact day so why can't we book online in advance? And the surgery keep a set number of same day appointments available for those that do have something urgent? Something needs to be changed, I can't spend every single morning on the phone for half an hour on the hope that I can get an appointment. Please look into how other local GP surgeries are managing their appointments.
