"I couldn't have asked for kinder, more compassionate people"

The staff in the day surgery until were incredible, I couldn't have asked for kinder, more compassionate people. I was extremely anxious about the cystoscopy and quite upset about the whole thing. They let my Mum stay with me and kept me in a separate area off the ward until it was time to go in and then had the curtains round. They talked me through everything and didn't make me feel like a nuisance. Both ward staff and theatre staff were really compassionate and kind. 

Unfortunately the investigation didn't provide any answers but although it was a scary experience for me, the staff made it a lot easier to cope with. Special thanks to Staff Nurse Cara who organised everything when my Mum called in the morning to ask for accommodations.
