"Waiting for my operation"

About: Woodend Hospital / Elective Orthopaedics

(as the patient),

Last year I was told the waiting time for my hip operation would be 2 years, with the pain and discomfort I’m in that world be hard. I phoned Woodend Hospital to see the waiting times last month to be told it is no longer 2 years it is now 3. How can I possibly wait 3 years? I’m 49 years of age and I have a physically demanding job. How can I wait this length of time? I will end up losing my job and my house and not being able to support my family. My mental health is being effected!
