I had been referred to my local GP surgery in Dunfermline, after I had called the police to report a serious incident of violence against myself.
I had been referred for mental health service and for psychology too, to support me through the traumatic experience that left me feeling very unsafe to leave my home.
My experience was a very supportive one, both from the psychiatrist and the pchycologist, both who were attentive to my needs, supportive in my anxiety and other needs.
After the trauma of 18 months ago, I was left unable to sleep and needed medications to sleep at night. My psychiatric help was very supportive indeed, my doctor would give me a little time to talk, which I found built trust with my doctor.
Sadly to say, they have left the Queen Ann hospital and I have really missed their support. I appreciate all the help and support by the policemen & woman, Linburn Surgery, the hospital and the professional doctors and staff of the NHS Scotland.
"I appreciate all the help and support"
