"District nursing team providing amazing care"

Myself and my family have had the privilege of the Limavady district nursing team (Leanne’s team) caring for my Grandad. Over the years the nurses from this team have always attended to my Grandad after he had received numerous surgeries and situations where he had wounds.

They attended to him promptly at home to adhere to his post op care and any care needs he required at this time. However this year has been a very difficult year we have faced with my grandads health declining and him becoming more frail.

The nurses have very quickly responded to his change of needs. They have demonstrated high quality of care at all times and made myself and my family feel at ease, as they are were so polite and understanding of his health decline.

They truly have gone above and beyond to help my Grandad and our family at this difficult time, always reassuring us if we needed them to pick up the phone. The district nursing team of Limavady deserve to be recognised and thanked for all their hard work over the years. Their caring, compassionate personalities doesn’t go unrecognised.

Myself and my family are so thankful for all the positive contributions and hard work the nurses have done for my grandads care.
