"Helped to improve the quality of my life - first class care"

My medical history as an urology patient has been significant and long. I have a Medullary Sponge Kidney and have been under the care of Queen Alexandra (QA) Hospital and more recently referred back to St Marys Isle of Wight

I thought my care could not be equalled to the Urology Department at QA under the leadership of Mr Rowbotham but how wrong was I.

My care has been in the main with Miss Sahu and without any doubt has given me first class care and support. With her guidance, supportive advice and treatment, my condition has improved massively. My Uric acid is very much under control and the size of my kidney stone has stabilised.

I have had another personal urological problem which I raised with Miss Sahu . She kindly referred me to another member within the Department and resulted in Surgery performed by Professor Watkins and out at St Marys.

I can honestly say Miss Sahu has helped to improve the quality of my life and I am grateful she is a key medical practitioner in the Urology Department at Newport.
