Arrived home moments ago from woodend hospital, following foot surgery yesterday. Preparation for the surgery by the surgery team was extremely thorough and all aspects of the surgery stages and associated processes involved - for my hospital stay were articulated with outstanding care and attention, considerable sensitivity, understanding, empathy and the highest level of professionalism.
In addition, the nursing staff and the anaesthetist made me feel comfortable, relaxed, and provided me with all the necessary information, choices and assistance in order to prepare me for the forthcoming procedure. I can't speak highly enough about the Anaesthetist and the nursing staff, as their attention to procedural detail were of the highest order, and I'm indebted to them. Again, the highest level of professionalism was espoused and delivered by them - throughout my hospital stay.
The Surgeon and his team carried out a very difficult procedure. On this note, I can add that their examination, analysis and evaluation of the complex nature of my procedure was implemented with true precision - and I can honestly conclude - that they have changed my life beyond belief. I know that I have a way to go, but I feel that my life starts today.... 24 hours after surgery, my foot is now pain free! The skills, experience, knowledge, and wisdom of this Surgery Team, in my mind, is immeasurable - they are a credit to ARI.
Overall..... My experience alludes me to say that this Foot Surgery Team are excellent - 5 Stars :-)
