"This team is nothing short of excellent and a huge thank you"

I was lucky enough to receive a full right knee replacement on the NHS recently, I spent 24hrs in hospital where I received excellent treatment even being shown my physio exercises before my operation. 

I came home on the understanding that the Limavady district nursing team would be calling in on me to check my wound. Claire came regularly on  time and always with a smile even through the snow and treacherous road conditions and when she felt I needed extra visits just to keep an eye she did so. My bloods were taken my stitches removed and i did not have to leave my home once.

This was an essential service to me as i live in the countryside and Icould not drive also not getting out meant these visit meant more to me and my mental health as I am used to being amongst people at work.

Being aware that the Limavady team of district nurses cover a wide area with an every increasing work load I am very grateful to them for their help in my recovery. 

This team is nothing short of excellent and a huge thank you.
