I went in for septoplasty & turbinate reduction. I went to DOSA, they were absolutely amazing in there. I went down to theatre, the theatre staff were also very good. I had never had general before. I was told the first lot of liquid was to calm me. The next I got I was in recovery. I was told I had been in theatre 1 hour. A staff nurse from ward 210 came & took me up to the ward. They were so nice & friendly. Very caring. I think it was an auxiliary came with some yoghurt & pudding & took my order for lunch. If not for this auxiliary & the nurse looking after me I wouldn't know what I was to do or what medication I had to take.
I never seen a surgeon - nobody apart from those two staff, who were so nice. So I have came back home to Moray with no aftercare info. Thankfully I can use Google.
Thank you to the ward staff on 210 for being so helpful & caring.
"Thank you to the ward staff"
