Having been referred by my GP I was promptly contacted directly by telephone which was great rather than waiting on a letter to arrive.

I expected to be examined and then leave to wait for results to be sent to my GP. I was delighted to find out that I was being seen by a consultant who would review my results there and then, meaning I left knowing the outcome with no unnecessary worry. An excellent system, felt like they really had put the patient first in every aspect of their care. A special mention to Marietta who was so professional but put me at ease during the procedure.

Hi carinabk89,

My name is Marietta Connor and I am the lead mammographer in the unit. Thank you so much for taking the time to issue such positive feedback and I am truly humbled that you mentioned me also!

We pride ourselves on providing a one stop clinic for many of our patients who attend with symptoms such as lump, breast thickening or recent nipple inversion.

We have a dedicated, skilled and experienced team who keep the patient at the core of the service provided and it is great to get this feedback from yourself.

I will make sure to pass the compliment to the team and once again thank you for taking time to give this feedback I hope that it would influence others who attend the service to feel at ease.
