I was diagnosed with PTSD. I was referred to CBT. This was a weekly appointment with Therapist Fiona. She is very professional, sensitive and understanding. Her warm personality helped my otherwise quiet self open up to discuss the problems / issues that were the reason for my diagnosis.
Initially I was very anxious but became more relaxed as my weekly appointments continued. I actually looked forward to our sessions. She furnished me with 'tools' and methods to use to help me move forward progressively. Over the past few months and becoming familiar with Fiona I really do not think I could have engaged with anyone else to discuss these sensitive / delicate issues.
Although challenging and exhausting, I can now look forward to a future. This is a complete credit to Fiona's' persistence and attention to detail. Without her this could not have possibly happened. I feel indebted to her. With all the bad press the NHS is receiving at the minute I think this is a perfect time to offer praise to Fiona and her colleagues. She has shown me dedication and commitment to enable me to move forward.
Finally. I'm confident stating that whatever department or company Fiona decides to work within, she will only ever be a major asset.
