"No updates from the hospital"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as the patient),

Waiting on appointment for over a year with no updates asides from additional appointments that would not become available until June, and they could not indicate how long it would be after that.

Called into Crosshouse and told they would not accept any information from me, about me, despite my GP not referring as it had been an internal hospital referral. The information they hold is out of date.

I was informed that I nhad to write a letter for a freedom of information to specific person, and that an email would be unacceptable.

Despite the legislation being that if anyone received a request under freedom of information then that should be forwarded to the person who would progress that request. And under reasonable adjustments any form of communication is acceptable, be that letter, phone call, or email.
