"Acute assessment unit , communal room"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Acute Assessment Unit (AAU)

(as a service user),

I felt safe, comfortable and cared for. I couldn't have asked for more .

The staff were kind, hospitable and treated you like a person. Not just a number.

I suffer anxiety so sometimes health care professionals can't see passed that, which can be stressful.

Not the case here. I was well treated. Found to have a chest infection,  and sent home feeling cared for.

Thank you so much.

Dear YvonneAdd178

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback on Care Opinion.

I was delighted to hear the care and treatment you received in the AAU was to a high standard and you felt well cared for and safe.

Hospital's can be a daunting place at the best of times so to hear the staff took the time to make you feel comfortable and at ease was very heart warming.

I will be sure to pass on your thanks to the staff who I'm sure will be touched to hear you had such a pleasant experience while under their care.

I hope your feeling a lot better and recovering well back at home after your chest infection.

Kind regards

Kevin
