I would just like to send my heartfelt thanks to the two nurses running the childhood immunisation clinic at Bonnybridge HC. I’m so sorry I didn’t catch your names. I attended with my twins for their one year immunisations - 8 injections between them!
Both of the nurses were outstanding today. I had been feeling anxious about the appointment, as at other appointments I had been questioned about not having another adult with me to help and told I needed to take another adult with me when this appointment came around - this was not possible for various reasons.
But it was never mentioned and both nurses were great at just getting on with it, and having twins was not an issue whatsoever. They put me at ease straight away, were friendly, chatty, personable, informative, looked at the bigger picture all whilst providing family-centred care and getting the job down with no fuss.
Thank you so much and I hope this gets back to you. I really hope we have you both again when we come back for our pre school boosters
