"Pre-Admission Assessment Clinic"

About: Vale of Leven General Hospital / General Surgery

(as the patient),

I arrived early for my appointment expecting to wait at least until my allotted time but staff began processing me almost immediately. Having made the initial nurse dealing with me (Lyn) know I was hard of hearing she spoke very clearly and ensured when she passed me on to her colleagues they were aware too.

The nurse carrying out the main assessment (Jo) kindly wore a clear face mask to ensure I understood the pre-operation instructions. She was very thorough and conducted the assessment in a very professional and friendly manner. I feel I have been well checked and briefed ahead of my operation.

Overall a very positive experience for me!
