(as a service user),

My husband had his quadruple bypass operation in cardiology in Royal Victoria and the care was super, in both intensive care and high dependency. the nurses and Drs were so caring and attentive , so skilled , their work is unbelievable and it made my husband's time there so much easier, we will never forget them - thank you all so much

Please accept my sincere apologies that there has been such a delay in my response. I am the Lead Nurse in the Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) RVH, and was delighted to be made aware of your comments made via Care Opinion.

Heart surgery is a major event in the lives of our patients and their loved ones, hearing that the care your husband received following his heart surgery has made his experience a positive one, is wonderful feedback for us. I will ensure your lovely message is communicated to the wider Team.
