"Positive first experience in Mandeville unit"

I wasn’t sure what to expect for my first treatment in the Mandeville Unit, however I am pleasantly surprised at how lovely and spacious the ward is. It is totally spotless, which is reassuring that it is clearly hygienic. As of yet, I have not felt unwell or experienced any symptoms, so I am just remaining optimistic and hoping it stays this way for as long as possible.

I can only say ‘’wow’’ at the staff, they are so uplifting and caring and certainly provide the craic.

My first experience in this unit, although scary, has been very positive.
