"Patient Access"

About: Dr Vij Branch

Today I tried to book an appointment to see my doctor, not a partner, but my actual doctor. Nothing happening, ring back next Tuesday morning at 8am. I tried that, on and off for the two months previous. As soon as 8 am came I pressed dial but not matter what I was also 6th in the queue and advised to call back when less busy. Getting an appointment with your doctor is like playing the lottery.

Why does the surgery not invest in an app like so many other practices that allow "Patient Access" to book their own appointments online? Why have you not go e down this route. Instead you have receptionist constantly answering calls just to tell the poor sap at the other end, "Sorry, I have nothing for today and I can not give you and advance booking."

What kind of practice are you running? I want to see my doctor and I want to see my doctor before my symptoms worsen or God forbid, before the symptoms kill me.

In 2023, in my humble opinion, this service is Not Good Enough!!! Diabolical is also too reserved.

Good morning Jacqueline, I am not sure who your GP is at Pendeford, I am assuming Dr Kharwadkar as our telephone system does not have the facility of queues. Both surgeries were named on the review page. I hope you have been able to obtain an appointment with your GP. Regards Dr S K Vij and Partners
