About: University Hospital Wishaw / Day Surgery

(as a service user),

Went to Wishaw General for day surgery on my right wrist to have a plate fitted and carpal tunnel completed. 

Felt very informed by all staff who came to speak with me and explain the process. Long wait and nursing staff were great. 

Following the surgery I was experiencing a lot of pain and I would like to specifically thank Laura for the care she provided me. In the end it was decided that I required to stay and it was Laura and Tracey that assisted me and settled me in for the night. I cannot thank her enough and feel she went above and beyond to help me feel as comfortable as possible. Thank you so very much.

It can be a worrying time attending hospital for a procedure and I am delighted our friendly team put you at ease before your procedure and then took good care of you after with your pain levels.
